The focus of lower eyelid blepharoplasty is the area between the eyelashes and the cheekbone.
To correct the lower eyelids, an incision is made either on the inside of the eyelid or just below the lash line. An eye surgeon removes loose and excess tissue. If necessary, support is added to the muscle and connective tissue and the wound is closed.
