Aesthetic Procedures Using a New Generation CO2 Laser
The diverse settings of the AcuPulse CO2 laser accompanide by the skills of our doctors allow precise adjustment of the depth, intensity and duration of the procedures. This helps to prevent post-procedural complications.
AcuPulse CO2 Laser Procedures
We perform correction of the upper eyelids, also known as blepharoplasty, using a CO2 laser. We remove xanthelasma, papillomas, scars and other benign formations from the eyelids. Utilizing the precision of the AcuPulse CO2 laser, we can rejuvenate and tighten the patient's eyelids without surgical intervention. Such procedures are called miniblepharoplasties. It is also possible to perform laser resurfacing with the CO2 laser. During this, partial, precisely programmed heating of the skin layers takes place. The laser beam creates a micro-network pattern in the skin, resulting in cone-shaped microchannels. In order to restore the damaged microchannels of the skin, healthy skin cells begin to multiply actively, which stimulates the synthesis of elastin and collagen. This, in turn, helps tighten the skin, increases skin tone, elasticity, and improves skin color.

Dr. Lakhdar Belhaouari
Is a well-known plastic surgeon and trainer who is currently involved in private practice in Toulouse, France. He was previously the Head of the Clinic of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Toulouse. Dr. Belhaouari specialises in aesthetic surgery in its broadest sense, but also specializes in non-invasive cosmetology: Botox and other fill-in injections, peeling, laser therapy, and more. Dr. Belhaouari has published two books and numerous articles on aesthetic surgery.
Dr. Luz María Vasquez
specializes in oculoplastics and orbital surgery. Dr. Luz María Vasquez earned her medical degree at Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana and completed her residency at CES University in Medellin, Colombia. Since 2011, she has been working as a consultant at the Institut de Microcirurgia Ocular in Barcelona, in the Department of Ophthalmic Plastic and Orbital Surgery. Dr. Vasquez has published several research articles in national and international medical journals.
Dr Melissa Toyos
is one of the founders of the Toyos Eye Clinic. Together with her husband, Rolando Toyos, they own several eye clinics in Nashville, New York, Memphis, and other U.S. cities. The clinics provide both conservative and surgical treatment of eye diseases. In addition, Dr. Melissa Toyos is an oculoplastic surgeon. This time, the focus of our advanced training was aesthetic surgery. We attended a lecture on Dr. Toyos’s experience and performed surgeries together with our colleagues. The main emphasis was on the use of the CO₂ laser.
Dr Michela Troiano
is a dermatologist and medical aesthetics specialist whose education and clinical experience combine excellence in general dermatology, laser surgery, and aesthetic medicine. She graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Florence cum laude (2005) and obtained her specialist degree in Dermatology and Venereology in 2009. Dr. Troiano has worked in both general and aesthetic dermatology, participating in numerous research projects and international conferences. Her main areas of expertise include acne and scar treatment, pigment disorders (such as melasma), hair and laser procedures, and minimally invasive aesthetic treatments.
